Girls Basketball Tryouts:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ... 6:15pm-9pm (meet in Girls PE hallway for check-in).

• Physicals and online paperwork must be submitted to matt.oblas@lcps.org or the athletic office prior to tryouts to be eligible to participate.
• Players trying out for our program make a commitment on day 1 of tryouts.  Please understand and make note that we practice 6 days a week, and have multiple holidays over the course of the season.  Games and practices take priority over any other sport, club sport, or any other non-academic requirement.
• Scrimmage and Game schedule can be found under the Schedule tab of the Girls Varsity Basketball page.
• Please submit your vaccination status to matt.oblas@lcps.org.  Do not inform the coaching staff, as this information is to be shared with LCPS administration only!

Important: TEAM STORE FOR WINTER SEASONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Due to the ongoing pandemic...

All sporting goods companies are experiencing major supply chain disruptions.  For instance, Nike is only producing ½ its normal volume of sneakers for the upcoming winter season due to factories being shut down in Vietnam.  This will also impact retail supply so buying sooner than later is recommended.

We are asking all players to purchase:

• UA Rival Knit Warm-up (offered in men's or women's sizes) for game day travel, 
• UA Locker Tee Long sleeve (offered in men's or women's sizes) for our program shooter shirt (game day warmup).  
• The shoes are required for Varsity members, highly recommended and available for anyone else. 
  • If non varsity does not wish to purchase through the team store, we'd request shoes be white with blue accent.

All team members will be given a team t-shirt with a quote on the back, purchased by the program from summer camp proceeds.

If you are a returning player, there is no need to purchase the UA Rival Knit Warm-up, as it is the same as last year.
